These terms apply to shops selling deals on Eatolist. Creating a deal means the shop accepts these terms in full. The most important is section 4: your responsibility to customers who book your deals.
1. What Eatolist does
- Eatolist is a channel for customers to discover your shop and book discount deals in advance. We are not a party to the sale of food — the contract for the food is directly between you and the customer.
- We collect only the booking fee, which covers the platform's service fee and the creator's share. Customers pay the rest of the food cost directly to you at the shop; that money does not pass through us.
2. Prices and conditions are yours
- You set the full price, deal price, quantity, sale period and all terms of use yourself.
- Creator share — you set it yourself between 5% and 30%, enforced by the database on both ends, not just the screen · Platform rate — set by admins; shops cannot change it.
- Conditions not written in the deal do not exist. Customers pay seeing only what you wrote. Adding conditions when the customer arrives is a breach of these terms.
3. Deals can't be edited once created
- A deal's price and conditions can't be changed once it is created, because customers pay based on what they saw at the time. Changing it afterwards is changing the contract one-sidedly after the other party has paid.
- A deal created by mistake can be deleted as long as nobody has booked it. Once booked it can't be deleted — use "Stop selling" to prevent further sales, and you must still honour every booking already sold.
4. Responsibility to customers who have booked
- You must honour the deal for every customer who has booked and paid the booking fee, at the advertised price and conditions, until that booking expires.
- If you close the shop, stop selling the deal, change the conditions, or don't honour what was advertised, responsibility to that customer is yours directly, including compensating or refunding the customer if you reach an agreement.
- Eatolist does not refund the booking fee on your behalf in this case, because the price and conditions are set by you and you accepted these terms when creating the deal.
- Before you stop selling, check whether any unused bookings are still outstanding — the system won't let you close a shop that still has outstanding bookings, for this same reason.
5. Customer cancellations within 24 hours
- Customers can cancel a booking themselves within 24 hours of booking, and Eatolist refunds the booking fee to the customer itself. This is not your fault and nothing is deducted from the shop.
- Cancelled bookings don't count as sales, and the creator share for that booking is cancelled too.
6. Ad credits
- Ad credits can be used only for advertising on Eatolist. They can't be withdrawn as cash or transferred to another account.
- Buying credits is not depositing money with us, and a shop doesn't need credits to sell deals.
- If you use a creator's clip in an ad, the clip's creator earns a share of the ad spend, which the platform pays — it is not charged on top to you.
7. Customer reviews
- We accept reviews only from people who actually booked and used a deal, or creators with a clip of your shop. We don't remove reviews because a shop is unhappy with the rating.
- Reviews that break the rules — defamation, baseless accusations, disclosing personal data — can be reported, and we review them through the same process used for other content.
- You can reply to every review, and your reply is shown under that review for all customers to see.
7/1. Customer data from table reservations
- For deals you set to require a table reservation, you see the customer's name, contact number, date and time and party size. The customer consents to this only so you can contact them about that table.
- Do not use customers' numbers for advertising, sell or pass them on, or copy them outside the app. The system hides the number a few hours after the reserved time. Shops that misuse the data may be suspended under section 8 and are themselves responsible under personal data protection law.
- Reservations are confirmed automatically up to the number of tables you set per time slot. Set it to what you can actually seat — a customer who arrives on time and finds no table counts as the shop not honouring the deal.
8. Suspending and closing shops
- We may suspend or close a shop if we find it repeatedly fails to honour deals already sold · adds unadvertised conditions · manipulates reviews or sales · impersonates a shop that isn't its own · or uses the system in a way that harms customers or creators.
- Before closing a shop permanently we will give our reasons and a chance to respond, except where immediate suspension is needed to prevent harm.
- Bookings customers have paid for that haven't expired must still be honoured as usual, even if the shop has been suspended.
9. Changes to these terms
- We give at least 30 days' notice, through in-app notifications, before changes that significantly affect your rights.
- Creating a new deal means you accept the version of these terms shown at that time.
